Fruit with Cider Sauce

3/4 cup apple cider or apple juice

2 1/2 inches stick cinnamon

1 20-ounce can pineapple chunks (juice pack), drained

1 large grapefruit, peeled, sectioned, and seeded

3 kiwifruits, peeled, sectioned, and seeded

1 cup bite-sized sticks peeled jicama

In a small saucepan, combine apple cider and stick cinnamon. Bring to boiling; reduce heat. Gently boil, uncovered, about 8 minutes or until reduced to 1/2 cup liquid. Remove from heat and cool for 10 minutes. Discard stick cinnamon.

In a serving bowl, combine fruit and jicama. Pour in reduced cider. Gently stir to combine.

Cover; chill up to 4 hours before serving.
