My child is 6 Years old. In the winter season I observe my child was urinating in extreme and even wetting the bed. I approached to the MD Pedriatic Child Specialsit for his treatment where he detect him as Type 1 diabetic. He was given Regular insulin in the initial stage for 3 times a day but later on the dose was revised to twice by converting regular insulin as Mixtard insulin. The dose is fixed at 16 units in the morning and 8 units in the night. With the diet control the mixtard dose come to 3 units in the morning and 3 units in the night. Shall there be any provision with which the insulin can be stopped?

Thanks
