Apple Oatmeal Crisp for Diabetes and Kidney Diet Plans





This apple oatmeal crisp recipe is good for snacking. Ingredients

1 cup oatmeal (not quick cooking)

3/4 cup brown sugar

1/2 cup all-purpose white flour

1 tsp cinnamon

1/2 cup butter

5 Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored, sliced

Preheat oven to 350.

In a bowl, mix oatmeal, brown sugar, flour and cinnamon

Cut butter into oatmeal mixture with a pastry cutter until well blended.

Place sliced apples in 9 x 9 baking pan.

Sprinkle oatmeal mixture over apples.

Bake for 30 to 35 minutes
