Eat The Vegetables!

I have learned I can only eat 30 gm carbs in the evening without having a much larger insulin:grams ratio. So for the holiday during which we were invited to a pot luck, I brought a fresh raw veggie tray - broccoli, cherry tomatoes, celery sticks, baby carrots, cauliflower, etc., etc. I kept to my 30 gm, e.g., sweet potato and stuffing, and went back to the veggie tray for dessert.
