Hamburger Patties Recipe for Diabetes and Kidney Diet Plans







These hamburger patties are a great recipe for suppertime.

Ingredients

1 pound lean ground beef

1/4 cup low-cholesterol egg substitute

1/2 cup nondairy creamer

1/2 cup cracker meal or 10 low-sodium soda crackers, crushed

1 tsp dry mustard

1/2 tbsp parsley

1/4 tsp fresh garlic, chopped

1/4 tsp black pepper

2 tbsp raw onion, chopped

Preheat oven to 425.

Mix together all ingredients in a large bowl.

Shape into 6 hamburger patties.

Place patties in a baking dish.

Bake uncovered for 20 minutes

For a complete meal, add a small hamburger bun, a slice of onion, lettuce and 1 tablespoon no-salt added catsup.
